Flying Squirrels course was designed with safety as our top priority. Our course meets and exceeds international safety standards. Flying Squirrels was built by a group of international experts that has a 100% safety record.
Flying Squirrels follow the following safety and operations guidelines:
Zipline cables and obstacle/challenge elements are inspected each day before tours begin
All equipment is inspected after each use to ensure that all visitors are safe
Extensive course inspections are completed regularly to ensure customer safety
Two Flight Officers accompany each group of up to maximum of 9 riders
All participants, including Flight Officers, wear safety equipment provided by Flying Squirrels
Absolutely no personal equipment is allowed on the course
Visitors are connected to the cables with safety lines at all times while on elevated platforms and on obstacle/challenge elements
Each rider is connected to the cable with two points of contact with safety lines, carabineers and pulleys
Safety briefing and instructions are provided before the tour begins
Visitors are required to strictly adhere to all written and spoken rules and to listen to their Flight Officers and follow their instructions to ensure a safe and fun trip
Flying Squirrels has established the following restrictions to ensure the safety of each of our visitors:
All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
Weight Restrictions: The minimum weight is 20 Kg while a body weight of 110 Kg is the maximum.
If you have any concerns or questions about our weight restrictions, please contact us. Children weighing 20 Kg and up are allowed to ride, but may need to ride tandem with a trained Flight Officer. Children are not allowed to ride tandem with a parent. All riders must be willing participants.
Physical Restrictions:
This adventure is designed for persons in good physical condition. Pregnant women, guests with existing injuries and/or seizure disorders are prohibited. Guests with current or re-occurring medical conditions that may interfere with the participant's safety should not take this tour.
Legal Restrictions:
Completion of a Participant Agreement form is required. Relatives other than the actual parents or legal guardians cannot sign for a minor.
Communication:
Participants must be able to understand and follow instructions in English
Dress Code:
Closed-toe shoes are required. NO FLIP FLOPS!! Pants or long shorts are recommended; shorts should hit the mid thigh so the harness isn't on bare skin. Please tie back long hair and no loose jewelry.
