Safety Tips and Rules
The Flying Squirrels zip line activity course is designed and operated with participant safety as our top priority. The course was engineered to meet or exceed all international safety standards by a group of international experts with a proven safety record.
Flying Squirrels Safety Operational Guidelines
Flying Squirrels has established the following restrictions to ensure the safety of all participants:
All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The minimum weight is 20kg while a body weight of 110kg is the maximum.
Minimum age is 4 years (child must be at least 100cm tall)
Please contact Flying Squirrels with any concerns or questions about weight restrictions. Children weighing 20 KG and up are permitted but may need to ride tandem with a trained Flight Officer. Children are not permitted to ride tandem with a parent. All riders must be willing participants.
This adventure is designed for persons in good physical condition. Pregnant women and individuals with existing injuries and/or seizure disorders are prohibited. Guests with current or re-occurring medical conditions that may comprimize the participant's safety should not take this tour.
Completion of a Participant Agreement form is required. Relatives other than the actual parents or legal guardians cannot sign for a minor.
Participants must be able to understand and follow instructions in English.
Closed-toe shoes are required. NO FLIP FLOPS. Pants or long shorts are recommended. Shorts should cover the mid thigh area so the harness doesn't contact bare skin. Long hair must be tied back and all loose jewelry must be properly secured.
